SFC Dunlap 173d RVN

Thirty years already. Always equivocated the HMS Shieffield with USS Stark.

I remember the DC training changes from the lessons learned during my service. One thing I vividly remember was receiving rolls of abrasive skateboard grip tape, cutting it into approximately 6x1.5 inch strips and applying it to either side of the plastic bags containing our EEBD's. They had problems getting a grip and tearing them open during the Stark incident.

DC lessons learned most notably aboard USS Samuel B. Roberts the next year.
