This footage was from a test drop in Northern Central Washington with the aircraft staged out of a former air force base in Moses Lake. Go read this blog about flying a R-44 to get the air to air video and more background about the shoot/test. It looks like they mostly used footage shot from an fire lookout on a ridge top.
