SFC Dunlap 173d RVN

Talk about fast return fire!

The vehicle was exposed for about 19 seconds before he even fired. He backed down in about six more. His first problem was pulling into an exposed position without being ready to fire. Given that the AT missile crew acquired him and fired that quickly the guy had probably been firing from the same position, or else the missile launcher was pretty close.
FYI a trained US crew could acquire a target, pull up, fire, back down, reload, get on a new target, pull up, engage it and back down again in about the same amount of time.
